Where the numbers come from

Published assays: Stamets, Gartz, Beug & Bigwood. They’re ranges, not single numbers, because the real thing varies that much. Same genetics, same tub, next flush, up to four times the potency. Anyone quoting you one number is guessing.

Doses are anchored to dried Psilocybe cubensis and scaled by each species’ measured content, since every published dose table is a cubensis table whether it says so or not. Every page lists its sources at the bottom.

What Fungodex is

Fungodex is a reference for psilocybin mushrooms: a species database with measured alkaloid content, a guide to the dangerous look-alikes, a medication interaction checker, dose and tolerance calculators, and a calm mode for someone in the middle of an experience. It is built for harm reduction, not promotion.

What it does not do

It does not sell anything, collect email addresses, or run accounts. The calculators run in your browser. Nothing here is medical advice, and no page tells anyone to stop a prescribed medication; those decisions belong with a prescriber.

How it is written
